Even more interesting fact is , a vendor based in china selling Brazilian hair, Peruvian Hair, Malaysian Hair and Cambodian Hair.  How come they get those origin hair. Theres no Brazilian or Peruvian origin donors live in China. Even if they claim they import it how come the prices are so low.

The real fact is only in India, women shave their hair in such high volume which is more than enough to meet the demand of hair extensions industry all over globe. Apart from India only a few women cut their hair for money which is very very less in volume compared to India. For example its only 0.001% compared to India.

Even though Quality hair is easily available in Indian Temples , no Chinese factory import such high quality hair because of price factor. The primary selling point of Chinese hair vendor is the dirt cheap price for hair, only then they can have the sales volume matching their bulk mass production.

China import several million dollars worth of comb waste hair and floor waste hair from India every year. Because its waste hair , the cost per kilogram of hair is dirt cheap. These waste hair are processed with acid wash and made into good looking hair extensions. The acid they use will strip the hairs outer layer called cuticles which is very important for a long lasting hair.

Why do Chinese hair vendor strip hair cuticles with acid?

The  hair cuticles are the protection layer that keeps the hair tangle free. These cuticles are similar the fish scales running through out the hair strands from top to down direction. These cuticles eliminate the friction between each strands and avoids hair tangling and matting issue.

In waste comb hair  or floor hair  the strands root top and tail are mixed so the cuticles are in different direction in each strands of hair. Such hair will get matted and tangles easily. so if the cuticles are shaved-off with acid then it will be tangle free temporarily. As the hair cuticles are ripped off , the moisture inside hair is easily evaporated and get to dry soon. More over the acid used to shave the cuticles damage the hair strands to great extend. So these hair are coated with silicon chemicals to make it silky and smooth. This silicone layer are capable of withstanding few washes. Once the out silicone layer is washed of , the hair pron to damage easily  and managing such cuticle free hair will be very very difficult.

As the  quality of hair is low, after few years these hair vendors face slow down in sales. So they were in need of a different name to sell these cuticle free acid washed hair.  Only then they came up with hair of different origins for their rescue. 

Where ever people see human hair extensions,whether its good quality hair or acid washed hair, you can say your eyes closed -  its of Indian Origin Hair.

Cuticle free acid washed are not limited to Chinese hair vendors. Nowadays , most of the hair vendors do this. Even in India, many hair vendors do sell cuticle free acid washed hair in order to compete with global market.

As the name says , the hair is drawn only once on one side. Drawing the hair means leveling all the hair strands to same level. In a bunch of hair, there will be hair strands of different lengths. In case of single drawn the hair is drawn and leveled on the root side only. Hence there will be natural tapper at the tail of single drawn hair. Single drawn hair can be made from hair collected from single donor as well as hair collected from multiple donors(floor hair or wast hair left in combs)

In double drawn hair, the hair is drawn out by each length and bundled together. First the hair is single drawn on one side and then its drawn by each length from the tail side of the hair. Double drawn hair is always made from multiple donor hair. it cannot be made from single donor hair. Most of the double drawn hair bundles look thick and same thickness is available from top to tail of the hair bundle.

Single drawn hair or double drawn hair does not really represent the hair quality. Hair quality is always measured and specified by cuticles of hair. Based on whether the all hair strands in a bunch or bundle of hair retains its cuticles intact in same direction or not , the hair quality is measured.  

Hair with cuticles intact in same direction is called Remy Hair.  Remy hair is the real human hair which is best known for its easy maintenance and tangle free nature.
